Welcome

Tune-Agers is a choral and orchestra ensemble rehearsing and performing in Penticton!

“I love to hear a choir. I love the humanity. To see the faces of real people devoting themselves to a piece of music. I like the teamwork. It makes me feel optimistic about the human race, when I see them co-operating like that”
Paul McCartney

There have been lots of changes within the Penticton Tune-Agers’ Choir over the many years since it was started by Helene Scott in 1970.

However the one thing that has never changed is our obvious delight in what we are doing. We love what we do and we love doing it for you our audience. Whether a member of the choir singing our hearts out or a member of the orchestra playing our instruments – we enjoy these times together.

Come sing with us for a couple of weeks to see if you think Penticton Tune-Agers is a choir you would like to join. We meet on Tuesday mornings from 10:00 to 12:00 at the Penticton United Church. (September – April)
Those interested in joining the choir should contact our President for information. After a couple of “singing with us adventures” speak to our Director, Kelsey Zacharyto set up a placement interview.

Come play with our orchestra to see if you would like to create music with them. The orchestra meets on Thursday mornings in Penticton at the Oasis United Church from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Musicians are welcome to come and listen or join in if they are capable. As with all prospective Tune-Agers, it is “everyone according to their ability”. For more information please contact our Director, Kelsey Zachary.
